A pager alternative for restaurants and cafes
Cloudose manages the wait for order pickup. Cashiers create an order with its own QR code, and customers scan it to track progress on their phones instead of carrying a pager.
How does the order flow work?
- The cashier creates an order. It starts as preparing and its QR is generated automatically.
- The code is shown from the order card or a customer display paired with the cashier device’s browser.
- The customer scans the QR and opens the order page without creating an account.
- Marking the order ready updates its status and sends a notification to devices that completed setup. The cashier then records collection.
What does the business need?
Staff need a compatible browser and internet access. An additional screen can show the customer QR; subscriptions do not include hardware.
Cloudose can run alongside your current POS. Staff create orders and update status in Cloudose; this does not imply automatic integration with every POS system.
How is it different from a pager?
Customers open an order link rather than receiving and returning a device. This requires internet access and a suitable browser. Background notifications also need phone support and completed setup.
On supported iPhones and iPads, web notifications require adding tracking to the Home Screen, opening it there and granting notification permission. Customers can follow the page without enabling notifications.
Choose a plan and start
Published plans show current prices, billing intervals and branch and cashier limits. Orders are unlimited. Choose a plan and submit a request; service begins after administrator approval and activation.
